Tzimopouleio Folklore Museum of Eptachori

In the square of Eptachori, at the very heart of the village, the old mansion of the Dimitrios Tzimopoulos family—who emigrated to the United States in 1956—has been transformed into a museum dedicated to collective memory. Through the 7,000 photographs of its permanent exhibition, housed in a building distinctive of the authentic local architecture, you will witness the village’s past and present: festivals, families, migration, and everyday life. It is a deeply human museum.
