Turkish School
Could you imagine that a Turkish secondary school operated in Servia until the early 20th century, attracting students from affluent families of the surrounding regions, as it was considered an important step for those pursuing careers in Ottoman public services? It was famously built by Halil Pasha after Servia was declared the capital of the Sanjak. Today, the “Turkish School” operates as an exhibition space, preserving its historical value as the sole surviving building from the impressive public structures of late 19th-century Servia.
