Trade Fair – Amyntaio
Every October, Amyntaio comes alive with music, movement, and the aromas of tradition during its Trade Fair—a custom that dates back centuries and continues to bring people together from across Western Macedonia. For an entire week, the town center becomes a place of meeting, commerce, and celebration: stalls are set up, brass bands echo through the streets, and the squares fill with visitors. Beyond its commercial character, the Trade Fair is also a cultural event, featuring theatrical and children’s performances, photography and art exhibitions, as well as the Local Products Exhibition at the Amyntaio Wine Exhibition Center, which highlights the region’s production and creativity.
