Rodani

In the past, Easter in Kastoria came hand in hand with the appearance of the Rodani, a sturdy wooden swing with red details, reminiscent of a fairground wheel. It was set up in small neighborhood squares, known as megntania, from Holy Monday until Thomas Sunday, becoming a gathering point for young and old alike for play, conversation, and fun. Today, you may see the Rodani revived every Easter in Apozari, thanks to the local cultural association.
