Don’t miss this great celebration! Every summer, for an entire week, Velventos celebrates its renowned trademark product: the peach. The “Peach Festival”, which attracts hordes of attendees, is a celebration that embraces locals and visitors alike, combining agricultural tradition, gastronomy and entertainment. The festival begins with wishes for a good harvest season, before it culminates with traditional live music, dancing, local wine, tsipouro and meze. The celebrations peak with concerts, theatrical performances, artistic events, exhibitions of local products, and even motorcycle demonstrations, organized by the Municipality and the cooperatives.
