Lake Katakali
Lake Katakali is located in the Flouria area of Katakali in Grevena, and it enchants visitors with its peaceful atmosphere. It is one of the artificial lakes created for irrigation and hydroelectric purposes in the Aliakmonas basin. Small waterfalls and an imposing artificial dam frame its waters, while tree branches rise from the lake like a plea toward the sky. From the summit of Profitis Ilias, the view toward Flouria and the imposing Mount Vounasa is breathtaking, while the route through the dense oak forest offers a unique experience of immersion in nature.
