Holy Monastery of the Nativity of the Theotokos in Dryovouno
Built in the 13th century at the foothills of Mount Agios Georgios, the Monastery of the Nativity of the Theotokos served as a center of monastic life and spiritual influence for centuries. Saint Kosmas of Aetolia visited around 1775 during his missionary journey through Western Macedonia. The last known abbot was Hieromonk Dionysios of Siatista, who served there until the mid-19th century.
