Grevena Trade Fair
During the first half of October, the Grevena Trade Fair takes place in the “Achilli” area of the city. It lasts six days and attracts many visitors from the wider region — people who visit not only to shop but also to socialize, stroll, and enjoy themselves. Walking among the stalls, you will encounter household goods, tools and children’s toys, as well as clothes, shoes, linens and many other items for sale. Outdoor taverns offer renowned local meats, especially spit-roasted dishes, which grace the fair with its distinctive atmosphere, while a funfair operates to entertain the children.
