“Foufia” Festival & Potato Festival
If you visit Eordaia in the summer, do not miss the “Foufia” Festival in July, where local culture meets gastronomy. The Foufas Cultural Association, in collaboration with the Municipality of Eordaia and the Region, organizes a major celebration dedicated to the village’s famous endemic potatoes. Local women prepare traditional dishes centered on the honored ingredient, cultural associations perform traditional dances, and children enjoy games and artistic activities during a three-day celebration filled with live music, as well as an abundance of food and drinks.
