Forestival – Nature Festival in Mikrokastro
Each June, Mikrokastro in Kozani transforms into a vibrant hub of nature, learning, and wellness during Forestival, a celebration dedicated to the forest and its people. Organized under the auspices of the Western Macedonia Model Forest, the festival offers a unique experience in a lush green setting, such as hiking, archery, kayaking, climbing, as well as Forest Bathing and Forest Therapy sessions for relaxation and mental rejuvenation. Educational workshops and activities for both children and adults take place alongside booths featuring local forest products, highlighting the region’s natural and culinary wealth.
