Deskati Reunion (Deskatiotiko Antamoma)
Every four years, men and women of Deskati descent that live abroad return to their homeland to relive moments of community, meeting friends and honoring tradition. If you happen to be in the area during those days, you will see them dancing and singing traditional songs in the central square, offering local delicacies and reviving old customs such as harvesting and threshing. The Deskati Reunion, an initiative of the Municipality of Deskati, is a rare celebration of memory, tradition and joy that unites the diaspora with its homeland — it will entertain and move you.
