Church of Saint Anna near Lefkonas
On the northeastern shore of Lake Mikri Prespa, the solitary ruins of the lakeside Church of Saint Anna await. This triconch, domed church likely dates around the late 10th to early 11th century and still preserves fragments of 11th-century frescoes. It is one of those monuments that makes you feel as though you are touching time itself through stone, brick, and pigment.
