Bridge of Maeris in Dasyllio
Known also as the “Bridge of Paliomageros”, this single-arched stone bridge spans the Bageriotiko stream, a tributary of the Pramoritsa River. It measures 23 metres in length and 7 metres in height, with an arch spanning 12.5 metres. Parts of its relieving arch are now partially covered by river deposits. The deck is paved with stone slabs and bordered by a low parapet. Built in 1910 through donations from emigrants of Dasyllio and local residents, with the support of Metropolitan Ierotheos Anthoulidis of Sisani and Siatista. For many years, it served as a vital link between Grevena and its nearby settlements—yet another stone-carved landmark showcasing the region’s rich history.
