Pepper Festival – Aetos
In late August, the village of Aetos hosts the Pepper Festival, dedicated to the region’s most iconic product—the Florina red pepper. Countless visitors gather to taste, dance, and celebrate as tables are laid with dishes made from Florina peppers in every possible variation: stuffed, fried, turned into sauces or jams, all prepared with local care and offered free to everyone. The evening continues with traditional music, dancing, and wine.
