Carnival – Xino Nero
Just before Clean Monday, Xino Nero transforms into a large, colorful stage. Its Carnival, one of the most vibrant in Western Macedonia, begins on the Thursday before Carnival Sunday with three days of festivities that fill the square with music, dancing, and costumes. The highlight comes on Carnival Sunday with the grand parade of floats and walking groups. When the parade ends, the celebration continues in the square with traditional dances, wine, and local treats lasting late into the night.
