Leek Festival in Ano Komi

Every year from mid-January to early February, the central square of Ano Komi hosts the Leek Festival, courtesy of the hard work of the local Educational and Cultural Association of Ano Komi. This delicious winter celebration pays proper tribute to one of the region’s most distinctive products. In a welcoming atmosphere created by the locals, you can taste traditional dishes such as leek pies, meatballs with leek, leek rice, among other delicacies that highlight the local gastronomic identity.
