Yaprakia Festival in Kozani
Shortly after Christmas, Kozani hosts one of its most… delicious celebrations: the Yaprakia Festival. Organized by the “Friends of Tradition” Folklore Association of Kozani with the support of the Municipality, the event takes place in Nikis Square. Visitors are invited to taste the iconic cabbage rolls (yaprakia), one of the most distinctive plates of Kozani’s cuisine, offered free of charge, accompanied by wine. Music fills the square, and dancing quickly follows, creating a warm and festive atmosphere that attracts locals and visitors alike.
