Double Dance in Milia

If you visit Milia on the third day of Easter, you will experience a unique expression of local tradition. The “Double Dance”, organized by the village’s Cultural and Athletic Association in the courtyard of the Holy Church of Saints Constantine and Helen, is one of the region’s most distinctive celebrations. The dance was named after the impressive way the circles —a circle of men and a circle of women— “double up” in order to unite. Accompanied by live traditional music, participants dance and sing, bidding farewell to the Easter season. The venue offers food, drinks, and great spirits, everything you need for an unforgettable festive experience.
