Christmas in Ptolemaida
Christmas in the Municipality of Eordaia means a full month of festivities—from early December to early January—filled with decorations, concerts, events in every community, in an atmosphere of absolute joy and love. The season begins with the lighting of the grand Christmas tree in central Ptolemaida. For the following month, the city’s central park—also known as the Old Park—transforms into a themed Christmas attraction. In the main square, festive wooden houses offer games and creative activities for children, while well-known singers perform on stage, adding a musical touch to the festivities. As a special holiday bonus, a little train takes visitors on a tour around the festively decorated city.
