In Komnina, Easter takes on a playful spirit with the traditional Pontic Egg Battles. Participants select the strongest boiled eggs and try to crack their opponents’ eggs while keeping their own intact. The custom symbolizes good prevailing over evil, with the eggs represent life and rebirth.
