Tranos Horos
The day after August 15, Kleisoura experiences its own great moment with the Tranos Horos, a festival dedicated to livestock breeders, with deep roots in Vlach tradition. Men and women, divided into two groups and dressed in traditional costumes, form a large circle. The dance begins with acapella singing, without instruments. Male and female voices echo one after the other through the mountains, creating a ritual with a truly distinctive atmosphere.
