St Patrick’s Day Festival
Since 2015, Grevena has hosted the first organised Irish cultural festival in Greece, giving you the opportunity to experience something truly different in the heart of the city. The Irish Embassy participates in the organisation, along with numerous Greek and international artists. The festival’s events uniquely combine Irish music with ecclesiastical chants and services held in Grevena’s churches in honor of Saint Patrick, patron saint of Ireland — an experience rarely found elsewhere in the world. The festival could not miss out on traditional dances, film screenings, and Irish culinary specialities. Events are spread throughout the city and are open to all with free admission.
