Yagoulia River Spirit
Yagoulia River Spirit invites you to experience something unique in the embrace of riverside nature. The event, first launched thanks to the dedication of the Grevena Nature Association “Yagoulia” and the Cultural Association of Nisi, takes place every year on the banks of the Aliakmon River, near the village of Nisi, at a location called Monastiri. It is usually held on the first weekend of August and gives you the opportunity to participate in numerous nature-based and cultural activities: canoe-kayak, archery, hiking and a fishing competition. At the same time, you can attend musical performances and cultural events that highlight local tradition. It is an escape in nature, away from the city life, that you will remember for a long time.
