The watermill of Lefkopigi, known as the “Bas Watermill”, takes you on a journey into daily life in the region during past centuries. In earlier times, five watermills operated in Lefkopigi, grinding the residents’ grains by harnessing the power of water from the surrounding streams. They were an integral part of daily life and the social fabric of the village.
