Maliogas Mansion (Siatista)

Built in 1759, the Mansion of Nikolaos and Despi Maliogas stands among the finest preserved exhibits of Siatista architecture. Its interior decoration, completed in 1844, features geometric and floral motifs, depictions of animals and cities, and portraits of Rigas Feraios, King Otto, and Tsar Nicholas I. A particularly notable fresco depicts Frankfurt, inspired by an engraving by Johann Balthasar Probst. Declared a listed historic monument in 1965 and restored by the Ministry of Culture, the mansion is now open to visitors, offering a step back in 18th-century Siatista.
