Church of Agia Paraskevi in Kaloneri
Do stand before the oldest Christian monument in the village, Agia Paraskevi, which dates to 1770. This three-aisled basilica features a distinctive northern colonnade and an iconostasis with icons dated back to 1778. It served as the village’s patron church until 1954, when the feast of Agios Panteleimon was established as the community’s main religious celebration. Today, the church remains a quiet beacon of memory and faith, and its architectural simplicity highlights the enduring value of post-Byzantine art.
