Mushroom Museum in Lavda

The Mushroom Museum in Lavda, Grevena, houses the wonderful world of the region’s mushrooms inside a beautiful traditional stone building. Created by the Cultural Association of Lavda Residents, it showcases the area’s natural heritage through an exhibition that recreates the natural environment of mushrooms. In the display cases you will see wild, fresh and dried mushrooms, as well as representations resembling small forest scenes. You will also find extensive informational material, including books and audiovisual media, along with a microscope for examining samples. Lavda itself, set within its beautiful natural landscape, completes the visitor experience.
