Digital Jewish Museum of Kastoria
A virtual museum dedicated to the Jewish community of Kastoria, with deep roots in the area, which became a vital part of the city during the 19th–20th centuries (numbering approximately 2,000 people) and was almost completely annihilated during the Holocaust. Through photographs, oral testimonies, a digital 3D exhibition, and the documentary “Trezoros: The Lost Jews of Kastoria”, which recounts the era of pre-war innocence, the harsh years of Occupation, and the brutality of the Holocaust, you shall encounter faces, families, moments of peaceful everyday life and creativity, as well as the devastating face of war— a tragedy that must not be forgotten, so that it is never repeated.
