Vergoula Mansion
Just a few meters away from the lake, with exceptional views, stands one of Kastoria’s most well-known mansions, the Vergoula Mansion, whose interior layout was designed to serve the needs of daily life in the 19th century. Built in 1850 by master builder Anastasios Vergoulas, it combines a cross-shaped central hall with four corner rooms—a defining feature of third-type mansions—and includes a beautiful courtyard by the entrance. Today, it serves as a space for arts and culture, hosting exhibitions and events that bridge the past with the present.
