Nestorio Folklore Museum
Housed in the stone building of the old Forestry Office, right by the entrance of Nestorio’s settlement, the museum reveals how people lived in the not-so-distant past. Clothing, tools, household items, looms, photographs, and traditional men’s and women’s costumes awake memories of the everyday life of previous generations. Here, you feel as though you are stepping into an old Nestorio household, where each object carries memories, emotions, and short human stories. Folklore collections highlighting local tradition are also hosted in other settlements of the municipality, such as Kotyli and Dipotamia.
