Park of National Reconciliation

At Livadia of Kotyli, at an altitude of 1,455 meters, a unique space awaits, offering an encounter with the political, social, and natural history of the region. The park was created to introduce visitors, in an engaging and experiential way, to life on Mount Grammos in modern times. The Park of National Reconciliation is home to two exhibitions—one historical and one environmental—transporting you from the Macedonian Struggle to the Greek Civil War, as well as into the natural rarities of the mountain ranges and remote plateaus. Through events, conferences, and educational programs, the park offers a multifaceted space for recreation, reflection, and contemplation on one of Greece’s most iconic mountains. It also features a guesthouse and a café-restaurant.
