Church of the Dormition of the Virgin, Zevgostasi
Among the most important monuments of the municipality, the Church of the Dormition of the Virgin awaits in the mountain village of Zevgostasi, a 20 to 30-minute drive from the town. Founded in the 13th century, this mesmerizing Byzantine church features an octagonal dome with blind arches and narrow windows, as well as remarkable interior frescoes that recall the artistry of the legendary Kastoria workshops of the 14th–15th centuries.
