Florina Zoo
Opposite the Traffic Education Park, the Florina Zoo is a small oasis of greenery and relaxation within the city. It was created in the 1960s on the initiative of then-prefect Konstantinos Bravos. After years of neglect, it was thoroughly renovated and reopened in 2016, once again assuming its role as a space for recreation and environmental education. In its specially designed areas, you will see domestic animals and birds, stroll among the plants of the botanical garden, and enjoy the calm of its natural surroundings. For children, a playground and a climbing wall promise endless fun, while adults view it as the perfect stop for relaxation in a well-kept green space at the heart of Florina.
