Archaeological Museum of Florina
In the heart of the city, the Archaeological Museum of Florina reveals the region’s entire historical journey, from the Neolithic era and the earliest traces of human activity, all the way to the Byzantine years. Exhibits from the prehistoric settlement of Armenochori, evidence from the Roman and Hellenistic eras, sculptures, ceramics, detached wall paintings, inscriptions, findings from the excavation of the Basilica of Agios Achilleios, and an impressive mosaic from Kato Kleines portray the life, faith, and art from the area’s inhabitants through the centuries.
